Liverpool know Barcelona serious about prising Agger away

Liverpool are determined to fight off Barcelona‘s interest in Dan Agger.

The Denmark defender has emerged as a major target this week for Barca.

The Liverpool Echo says the Catalan giants are understood to be considering a bid for Agger who has also been linked with Real Madrid since the championships in Poland and Ukraine.

However, Liverpool have no interest in selling Agger and remain hopeful he will commit to a new contract.
