Listless Hearts drop points at home against Dwarfs
Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak failed to record a second straight win after Ebusua Dwarfs held them to 0-0 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

It was a game of few scoring chances but the Phobians were also betrayed by their poor misfiring attack as Gilbert Fiamenyoh missed an unpardonable scoring chance in the dying embers of the game.

The first-round fixture gave Polo his maiden win as Hearts head coach and went into the game with a good measure of confidence especially coming from the back of their victory at Aduana but were made to settle for a draw.

Mohammed Polo named 2014 Ghana CHAN defender Nuru Sulley in his line-up but the 21-year-old had to be replaced in the early stages of the second-half by Aziz Abankwah after picking an injury.

Hearts struggled to dominate the midfield while Dwarfs forced them to settle for a draw.

Despite their failure to win, the Phobians still occupy second spot with 31 points after AshGold crashed to a 2-1 defeat Hasaacas in Sekondi.
