Lions turn down Hearts offer for Kweku Andoh - Reports

Posted On Friday, 4th January 2013

Kweku Andoh, left, may not be joining Hearts of Oak

Kpando Heart of Lions have told Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Kweku Andoh is not for sale, according to reports in the local media.

Hearts coach David Duncan wants to build a solid midfield for the second round and earmarked the former New Edubiase United midfielder.

Andoh reportedly agreed personal terms with Hearts but talks stalled when Lions bankroller Victor Ahiakpor told them the ball-battling midfielder is not for sale.

The Phobians are close to signing trio Sampson Cudjoe, Stephen Tetteh and Joseph Mugri.

At HOK almost all the big players in league usually come knocking at the door and we even turn them away. Some even use to come and beg to be sign for free. What’s gone wrong? Now we go out there with bags full of money begging bench warmers at other clubs (even division two clubs) and they reject our offers to sign their players. Something must be wrong. Can anyone tell me why?

paa nie or watever u call ur self, u are a big fool.the reason why nobody wants to release his player to hearts is because of black magic used by the management to spoil players simply because (the management)wouldnt get any prcentage of the players future transfer fee. shame hearts of oak. ghanaian footballers be kerfull wen joining hearts ooooo. ur career will be doom oooo. yooooooo.
