Heart of Lions say they are not interested in contesting for the 2012/13 Ghana Premier League title.
The Kpando-based side managed a lowly 12th place last season and are aiming at improving their status on the Ghanaian top flight in the coming season.
Lions have hired former Asante Kotoko assistant coach Sarfo Castro to build a stronger squad for their league campaign.
The club president Victor Ahiakpor says his side will focus on player development this term.
“We will look at developing younger players for abroad and training them for further development,” Ahiakpor said.
“We will not focus our attention on the league title.”.
