Liberty split points with King Faisal in Ghana Premier League opener

Liberty Professionals dropped points in their Ghana Premier League opener after drawing 1-1 with returnees King Faisal at home on Saturday.

The home side looked like they were on course for a mammoth win after dominating proceedings early.

Liberty took the lead through striker Kennedy Ashia on 13 minutes after piling pressure on the Faisal back four.

After the break, Faisal coach tweak his starting line-up and introduced striker Prince Boateng on 49 minutes for Wilson Andoh.

Boateng sneaked behind the Liberty defenders to head home a cross from the left with goalkeeper Daniel Agyei completed beaten.
