Liberty Professional coach George Lamptey believes the team’s return to the Dansoman Park is responsible for their improved form in the Ghanaian top flight.

The ‘Scientific Soccer Lads’ played the entire first half of their Premier League campaign at the Accra Sports Stadium while renovation works remained ongoing at their traditional home grounds.

The team have now returned to the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park on the resumption of the second half of the season.

Liberty registered another famous win over leaders Asante Kotoko before their home fans at the Dansoman home grounds.

And coach George Lamptey believes their return home is the trick behind their surged form.

“Returning to Dansoman has really helped us a lot,” he said.

“When we were at Accra, opponents felt very comfortable and confident in getting points off us.

“But now playing at home, we have all that motivation to go all out for the wins.”
