Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey admits his side are struggling to remain in the First Capital Premier League.

The Danosman-based side lie 12th on the table but two points above the relegation mark.

Liberty were seeking for a quick revival with the return of offensive midfielder Kennedy Ashia but their struggles have continued.

They host another relegation-threatened side Ebusua Dwarfs, coached by their former coach JE Sarpong, on Wednesday.

“It has been a very difficult season for us, but we are looking forward to finishing on a high note,” Lamptey told Graphic Sports.

“We started very well at the beginning of the season but injuries really caused us at the middle of the season.”
