Liberty Professionals midfielder Kennedy Ashia admits playing at this year's FIFA World Youth Championship has made him a better player .

Ashia thrilled many across the globe with his tenacious piledrivers during the Under-20 tournament in Turkey.

The Liberty ace, who netted 14 times for the scientific soccer lads last season,  has revealed playing at the tournament has given him an extra confidence to soar in his career.

“As you know, playing in the World Cup means a lot of exposure for any player and I was happy at the things I experienced,” Ashia told Citi Sports

“A lot of people had high hopes of seeing good performances from me and by God’s Grace, I did not disappoint them.

“I went to prove that that I could do well and I think I did so for the team.

Ashia scored two faboulous goals against USA and Portugal during the tourney in the European country.
