Liberia to camp in Ghana ahead of Nations Cup qualifier against Nigeria

Liberia will camp in Accra, Ghana this weekend ahead of their October 13 make or mar Nations Cup qualifier against Nigeria's Super Eagles in Calabar.

Liberia Football Association boss, Musa Bility disclosed that 27 players will hit Accra and prepare with all "seriousness", with the aim of causing an upset at the U.J Esuene Stadium, a venue where the Eagles had won all their matches so far.

With 11 days remaining for the crucial winner takes it all game, Liberia, according to Mr. Bility, will leave no stone unturned to get the result that will see them playing in their third Nations Cup.

"The National team will be leaving for outside of Accra on September 30, 2012 for eleven days training before the duel with Nigeria," said the LFA president.

"This is to keep the players focused on our mission to upset the Super Eagles. We want to blend the foreign and local based players for the sole purpose of winning.

Besides, the Liberians are sending an advance party of officials to Calabar to provide valuable information that can help their team have an upper hand against the Eagles.
