Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has urged caution in the criticism of referees in the Glo Premier League.

The past week has seen match officials suffer heavily for 'dodgy' decisions at the hands of irate fans which has since been vehemently condemned.

The ex Ghana striker has also added his voice with a different twist-saying non-performing referees should be dealt with in a more appropriate manner and advices guarded comments over their output.

"I will never say anything about officials because I don’t think I am the right person to criticize referees considering my expertise,'' he said.

"If people have misgiving about the performance of referees I believe they should report it to the appropriate quarters rather than cry foul about it all over the place."

Liberty Professionals coach J.E Sarpong will face the Ghana FA’s Ethics Committee over comments which seem to endorse the murder of non-performing referees.
