Ghana World Cup defender Lee Addy is backing his international team-mate Prince Tagoe to be a big hit at Serbian outfit Partizan Belgrade.

Ghanasocernet revealed exclusively on Monday the capture of the World Cup star by Belgrade side following lack of limited opportunities at German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim since joining two season ago.

The move to Eastern Europe will afford him more game time and revive his fading international career following the appointment of Goran Stevanovic as new Ghana coach.

Addy who plays for Serbian side Red Star Belgrade expects the lanky goal poacher to make a huge impact in Serbian top flight league.

''I believe he will do well and make it big over here. The people over here are very lovely and he’ll be welcomed here greatly and enjoyed his stay. I think it’s a good move for him to get regular playing time and get his international career back on track,'' Addy said.

''I have been here and everything is working successfully or me and so I don’t see how that will be different for him. He‘s a great player who has done his bit for the country and so it will be refreshing to see him playing on weekly basis. I’m positive he’ll do well here.''
