Laryea urges brother Richard Kingston to join him at Hearts of Oak

By Patrick Akoto

Midfielder Laryea Kingston has urged his brother and ex-Ghana first choice goalkeeper Richard to join him at Hearts of Oak.

The shot-stopper, 33, is unattached and still looking for a job after relegated English Premier League Blackpool released him last year.

The 30-year-old winger who terminated his contract with Israeli top-flight side  Hapoel Be’er Sheva last year to join his boyhood club believes the local league will be good for the former Wigan and Birmingham City glovesman.

“I have said this over and over again that the Ghana league is not as bad as we thought when we were out there in Europe,” Kingston said

“In fact, it has improved a lot,  that is why some of us are re-launching our careers here in Ghana.

“I don’t’ want him t be idled since he has not retired. That is why I keep drumming home the point that if it’s possible, he should join any local club of his choice, though I would prefer him to join me at Hearts.

“We all have one ambition and that is to return to Europe and then rejoin the senior national team, so what better way to do it together,”

What happen to all the offers he said he had.95% of the BLACK STAR players will be lost without the black stars.
Kingson should heed to his brothers advise. It’s better than nothing.

this laryea guy is not serious at all. fellow phobians let call a spade a spade laryea and sammy are the cause of our poor performance this season, especially in the 2nd round. we are fighting for u sack from the club u are asking ur brother to join you. you think hearts is just a small club to toy with. JUST DO NOT BORE ME TODAY. b4 ur arrival nkrumah, uriah, ofori, abbey, mahatma, moro were plying well. becuase of ur poor attitude towards them, they are feeling reluctant to die fr the club,in order for u not to gain ur so called popularity. u think nxt yr we will entertain these things. wo paaaaa

  4. Chu says:

we don’t want kung fu men in the club to chase the funs around and keepers that would open their legs in me and you

  5. Kwabena says:

@Seth,pls spare us the insults cos i believe Sammy Adjei has done enough for the club!

  6. KT says:

Terror, you are always terrifying!!! How can you call the Great Old Oak Tree names everyday? I will hardly come on this platform and cast insinuations and call Fabulous names. Don’t do that. This is no rivalry, it is a competetion. The fact that you are on top now doesn’t give you the right to be calling us derogatory names. I always tell you Phobia is made of respectable men, who are the big deals in this country, just as Kotoko has. Respect them, ok. Togbui is no ‘Boko Haram’. Infact, he is one of the wealthiest men in the country, ok. His wealth was not gained through his stool, but hardwork. Show some respect to Accra Hearts of Oak, cause Ghana soccer nearly died after the demise of Excelsior. Some big men created HOK to revide it. And for the records, those who formed Kotoko modelled it on the exploits of HOK, but each of these clubs now depend on each other for survival. Show some respect!!!!

KT, where have i disrespected Hearts in my submission above? Me calling Laryea and his brother oldmen is not an insult, it is the plain truth, which is very difficult for you to accept. Please don’t give me lectures on how someone got their money because i am not in for that, if you want us to discuss that, we can do it and you’ll be surprised at the so-called rich and respectable people you are shouting about. Whether Hearts was created to succeed something or replace something is not my cup of tea, i wont worry about that, it is your history, twist and turn it the way you like, i don’t care. You demand respect as if it is given on a silver platter, sorry bruv, you gotta earn it. We are not on top today by accident, it was planned in advance that, by this year today, Asante Kotoko will be where we are and it has happened. We have already finished our plans for next year including the champions league and you are hear recruiting players who only bring divisions and problems to the team. Be there. Did you see how we swung the disciplinary rod on Ahmed Toure? We don’t care if you copy that, it will help your ailing team.

  9. hayford osei says:

you are right terror my brother , they should learn how to take advise and stop those insult , he has say nothing wrong but an advise to the club simple,a word to the wise is in the fabulous club , Fabulous no size ,kotoko mo be kume

  10. Fresher says:

@ terror:- you know these Phobians as much as they know themselves, they hate constructive criticisms, they hate to learn professionalism from Kotoko, not even from Liberty professionals nor from any of the other clubs. That is why many people are of the opinion that Togbe Afede had invested in a money devouring institution. As for OLELE, he shouldn’t make that wrong move or else, those hearts players will disrespect him and the Phobian supporters will eventually beat him up.

  11. NANA KENYA USA. says:

    Olele is finish B4

  12. Chu says:

Hearts funs r the most patient and contempt. fabu fans even criticised their team on match fixing when the’v even won

  13. Larry says:

Yie.. Olele will ‘do’ Sammy Bamako Adjei again… we beg oooo He can go to Goldfields or Liberty but not Phobia …we beg!
