Laryea Kingston set for Blackpool talks

Ghana midfielder Laryea Kingston is set for talks with English Premier League surprise package Blackpool, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 30-year-old is expected to arrive in England by this weekend to hold talks with the in-form Premier League side.

Kingston is unattached after requesting to terminate his contract with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem due to limited game time after six-months.

"He has confirmed that there has been telephone conversation between himself and Blackpool," a confidante told GHANAsoccernet.com

"He is expected in England on Sunday to finalize a move in the January transfer window."

If a deal is reached, he will join his elder brother Richard Kingson who profited from an injury to Matt Gilks to become new first choice goalkeeper for Ian Holloway's high flying side.

There are talks in the local media that Kingston could be heading for the Arab world but that is not his first option.

Kingston was released by Scottish club Hearts last summer.
