Laryea Kingston fired up for Kotoko ''Super Clash"

Posted On Thursday, 12th April 2012

Laryea Kingston is ready to play against Kotoko in Sunday's Ghana Premier League derby

Hearts of Oak midfielder Laryea Kingston says he is itching to play in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League derby against Kotoko.

The experienced player has been pivotal in the side’s campaign since rejoining his former side in the second half of the league.

Kingston missed the first leg encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium and looks fired up for another Super Clash.

“I watched the first in the stands and it was quite remarkable. The teams played and that to a very large extent influenced my decision to sign for the Hearts,” Kingston told Hearts News.

The 30-year-old playmaker will use his experience from playing in Europe to revitalize Hearts campaign.

“I love big matches like these as I feel it is a better platform to show all what one can do.

“I have told the players to give off their best on that day, and make sure that we win convincingly too.

“The whole of Ghana will be watching and if we are lucky and it comes on TV, then the whole world. This is one experience I have been waiting for all this while”, he said.

Hearts are in second place and ten points behind Kotoko on the Premier League table.
