Kwarasey is not Ghana's best: GHACLA chairman

Ghana League Clubs Association chairman Alhaji Aliu Raji doubts if Adam Kwarasey should be first choice goalkeeper at the 2013 Nations Cup.

The Stromsgodset shot-stopper is in line for his second Africa Cup of Nations appearance after his debut at the last edition in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

He faces competition from AshantiGold's Fatau Dauda and Daniel Nii Agyei of Liberty Professionals for the tournament.

The Norway-born seems to have improved this season after playing a role in his club's second place finish.

"I don't think Kwarasey is the best goal stopper in the country. I also believe right backs like Aduana's Godfred Saka and Kotoko's Yaw Frimpong are ripe for the Black Stars," Raji said on Happy FM.

Despite Raji's reservations, Kwarasey will make Ghana's final 23-man squad for the tournament.
