Kwarasey backtracks on Muntari support, confirms AC Milan star attacked Ghana FA executive
Adam Kwarasey says he does not support Muntari's attack on Moses Armah

Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has backtracked on his claim that Sulley Muntari stood up for the Black Stars in their shambolic showing at the 2014 World Cup insisting that he does support violence after the AC Milan ace physically assaulted a Ghana FA member during a meeting in Brazil.

The Norway-based goalkeeper is the first player in the Black Stars to confirm that Muntari attacked Moses Armah during a meeting with the Black Stars over the delay on the arrival of their appearance fee for the tournament.

Kwarasey had previously said that he supported the actions Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng after the duo were booted out of the squad for various forms of indiscipline in the squad.

Muntari was sacked for his unprovoked attack on Mr Armah while Boateng was dismissed for his verbal abuse on coach Kwesi Appiah during training sessions in Brazil.

There were doubts in certain quarters about Muntari attack on Armah, but Kwarasey confirms that the attack indeed took place without going into details

Kwarasey had previously said that he Muntari and Boateng stood up for the Black Stars but has now performed a spectacular u-turn by saying he is not in support of Muntari's violence.

Clarifying the issue of indiscipline in the team that influenced the expulsion of Sulley Muntari from camp, Kwarasey told the GNA: "I do not support violence of any form; none at all.

"I do not support Muntari's attack on the management committee member."

Kwarasey says he is not keen on playing for the Black Stars in future if the goalkeepers' coach Nassam Yakubu is not changed.
