Kwadwo Asamoah shines again in Juventus' Serie A victory

Posted On Sunday, 23rd September 2012

Kwadwo Asamoah weighing in his pass for Quagliarella to finish off

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was the star-man for Juventus who coasted to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Chievo Verona at the Juventus Arena on Saturday.

The 23-year-old set up his former Udinese team-mate Fabio Quagliarella  for the Old Ladies’ second goal with a measure of artistry.

Asamoah produced a deft cut to go past two Chievo defenders on the left wing before laying an accurate pass for Quagliarella who forced his effort past Sorrentino in the 68th minute.

The Black Stars midfielder who has netted twice since joining the Bianconeris in August lasted the entire duration of the game.

Juventus have maintained their perfect record in the Serie A; winning all four of their opening games.

Black Stars new boy Isaac Cofie warmed the Chievo Verona bench.

Ghana is blessed with individual brilliance.
Whether or not Akwasi Appiah is good enough to marshall a fearsome team is a million pound question.

  4. KWAME NAAGBEWA says:

why does AA change this guys position when he comes to play for Ghana? Put him on the left wing, Place Andre ayew just behind the lone attacker(Gyan jst like marseille, Dispatch Annan in central midfield, Atsu can play as Left attacking midfield, Agyemang Badu on right attcking midfield, A.A gotta learn.
