Kwadwo Asamoah reveals his love for basketball, the Heat and Akon

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has revealed his love for basketball with the Miami Heat being his favourite team in the NBA and Senegalese star Akon being his favourite musician.

The Juventus star is currently one of the most influential players for both club and country.

Asamoah will be heavily relied upon by Ghana at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil which kicks off in June.

The Black Stars will be facing Germany, Portugal and the USA in Group G at the World Cup.

The 25-year-old has however revealed his love for American sports with NBA and the Miami Heat his most treasured apart from football.

“Among other sports I like basketball NBA, the Miami Heat,” Asamoah revealed.

“Super Bowl (baseball) I would like to watch but it’s too late.”

The Ghana international like many other athletes have a profound love for music.

The ex Udinese player reveals Akon as his most preferred artiste amongst a host of his favourite Ghanaian and hip hop playlist.

“Ghanaian music hip hop music are my favourite with Akon as one of my favourites artistes,” he added.
