Ghana ace Kwadwo Asamoah has congratulated Emmanuel Frimpong for earning his debut Ghana call-up.
Frimpong, a former England youth international, was named in Kwesi Appiah’s 24-man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan on March 24.
The 20-year-old’s nationality switch was ratified in November last year by FIFA after a two-year wait.
Among the many friends who wished him well is the Juventus star Asamoah, who posted on his official Twitter page, “Congrats bro @IAMFRIMPONG26 #BOH”
Frimpong himself expressed his pent up happiness by posting on his Twitter page: “Proudest moment of my football career.”
Ghana must win against the Desert Hawks at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Mmmm yoo….thanks Kwadwo…….
All de best Ghana…..lets win our game!!!
an excellent passer of the ball with good orientation on the field.i would like to see him anthony annan and micheal essien in camp to bring more competition in the midfield.its good the coach has made some changes to the team though but he need to put more emphasis on goal scoring.ghana abound in midfielders.
@sam-It was like sayng stephen appiah was a competitn to abedi pele cos he was the youngest playr of BS then.Annan nd frimpong would only b fortunate to play alongside Essien.Essien made the mark,he is a fifa standard player.Ghana needs him to rub off his feat on the young ones.Hang around them to bcome like them. However,i mst say Ghana is the future of africas footbal.I wish all the debutants nd BS all the best.
I’l want to see emmanuel Frimpong pathner’s Rabiu.Agyemang Badu shd be on de bench
The last time I checked, Kwadwo Asamoah was on Juve books and not Udinese
