Kwadwo Asamoah recognized in the front page of Tuttosport

Kwadwo Asamoah has emerged the first Ghanaian player to occupy the front page of leading Italian newspaper Tuttosport following his recent explosive performances for Juventus.

The 25-year-old has been in scintillating form for the champions – capping his consistent displays in recent weeks with a world class finish to hand the Old Lady a priceless 1-0 win over Fiorentina last weekend.

Asamoah’s impressive performance has caught the eye of the international press and was recognized with a dedicated front page cover in leading Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

The ex Udinese man has made a subtle piece of history as he emerged the only Ghanaian player to make the front page of an Italian newspaper.

Several Ghanaian players have blazed the trail in Italy but none has managed the recognition of a dedicated front page story.

It goes a long way to show the level of appreciation and respect shown to the Ghana international who was only last week rewarded with a contract extension at Juventus.

If you are coach with all this talent who are hungry to make name for themselves and you sit there calling for assistance from some Serbian traitor, then what the hell are you getting paid for as a head coach.
You have K.Asamoah,Dede,KPB,Muntari,John Boye,Gyan,Waris,Opare and Essien etc .This guys are world beaters with the right motivation.
AA must learn to utilise K.Asamoah properly. This is not a rocket science.I can’t get the logic of getting that Serbian traitor back.
I don’t see any difficulty in marshalling a world beating team out of the pool of talent we have. There are some guys on this forum who can do a better job than AA giving the chance following their analysis .AA has lost my respect with that inferiority complex attitude of getting that Serbian traitor. If he is not up to the task, resign and come back to uk to continue your security job.

Benny am so glad you are not the coach. AA did not call the Serbian to be his master but rather an advisor. So I don’t see anything wrong with that invitation. Infact I think AA was very smart to request someone who has already trodden on the path of leading the black stars to the world cup. It’s not inferiority complex but rather an excellent mark of a matured confident coach who is not too pompous to ask another coach to be on the bench with him. I really appreciate AA more for this subtle act of calling the Serbian. Good move AA! keep doing your job and ignore the haters!

Can you imagine if Guardiola or Mourinho or Ancelotti say is managing all these crop of talented players you have mentioned in the world cup what the end results will be like in Brazil? Because these Coaches will make sure they get the best out of you! AA must sit up and make sure he gets first the selection right and then the roles also right.

Benny…although I don’t think the Serbian is the right one in this scenario getting help with scouting is a good idea. There is a reason why coaches have scouts and diff personnel for different tactical aspects of the game. Please don’t confuse your hatred for the Serbian with Kwesi Appiahs need for extra inshight and analysis. No one is perfect! God bless Ghana & the black stars!!

  3. benito says:

Nana Yaa,I couldn’t agree more with you,I don’t see anything inferior what the coach asking for help,it rather shows his sincerity.

  4. selfmade says:

The Serbian just want our monies!!

  5. Benny says:

Nana Yaa,Muba,l can’t fathom why many like you associate any views contrary to yours as hatred to an individual. What is it that that Serbian knows that AA doesnt know. All I am chipping across is that AA must eschew that sentiment of l can’t do it.
If that Serbian is any good, how come he got the sack from Quata and up to date,he is jobless. I find it absolutely ludicrous the suggestion that going for the Serbian as an advisor is a smart move.It is unnecesary cost and at end of the day,how can we judge the competence of AA as a coach.I am not against the suggestion that AA should not ask for help but under the current circumstances ,with the crop of talent we have, with self belief,AA doesn’t need that selfish traitor who is looking for the cheap opportunity to put himself to the market.Bobo won the under 20 World Cup with the help of our local technical assistance. Why not Bobo?

    • ZG GH4LIFE says:

Thank you, why not Bobo? Sellas led our u20 and won but Ghana have not given him a chance around the Blackstars at all, i dont get it, well we will suffer until we believe in our own kind

      • Kwabena says:

Because he said TB Joshua did the selection and even gave him the roles each of the U-20 players should play. But you and I know that TB Joshua is not a coach. He Boboo himself said that and as a matter of fact it was TB Joshua who won the Cup for the under-20 team so why give him the BS.

This article attributes K. Asamoah, the one and the only ASSASSIN of the mighty BLACK STARS in the world. Folks, hand the man his flowers at the time he can smell them and ignore A.A. The Neo [ KASA ] of the MATRIX, the god of the game is ready to EXPLODE in Brazil and there’s nothing any human can do about it. His last goal scored for Juve is the INEVITABILITY of what’s the entire world would discover in 2014 W.C!! GOD BLESS GHANA

I think after advocating for David Addy i have to rethink the leftback position after watching Kwadko all season in that position for Juve.In fact-as the commentator said in the game against Fiorentina-he is now rated as the BEST FULLBACK in Serie A and thus AA must now start to seriously consider using him there permanently for GHANA with the emerging genius Rahman as his deputy.@BENNY,my brother i am in TOTAL AGREEMENT with you.If AA needs help, and it’s basically organizing the defence, get Tony Baffoe or Sammy Kuffour who both excelled in their time spent in Europe as both centre-backs and,in Sammy’s case, before switching to that position because speed had now deserted him,as a full back at Bayern. After careful re-examination this is now my defence and it is now accepting the fact that Vorzah definately cannot make it at this stage. Kwadko and Baba[L/Bs] Boye-Mensah-Sumaila -Akaminko[c/h] and Opare -Ainooson[r/b]. It is now time to put emotions aside and start seeking alternatives immediately for Essien and Muntari as clearly they are passed it and possibly will be liabilities for Ghana in Brazil. It is my belief that an improving-with regular game time at Genoa this season-Isaac Cofie and a now carefully managed and emerging Acquah at Parma,be seriously considered for Brazil to go along with Badu and soon fit again-hopefully-Rabui.The only strikers that should be considered are Gyan-Warsi-Accam-Boakye and possibly young Erghan,as i would definately use-mindful of injury worries-KPB as a striker. With Kingson seeminly on the improve in Turkey the keeping position should be decided between Kingson himself, as experience will be key,Kwarasey,Adams and Brimah. And coach start having confidence in self and your second in command Konodu as the only person who i would get rid of in the technical team is Yakubu.I do not think he really has a clue as his style and extreme bias towards Fatau will,in future, cause problems with the other keepers.

  8. alton gordon says:

Sorry but i should have emphasized that with Kuffour stating that there are no real leaders in defence,he could help these defenders lift their confidence and tactical awareness as he had played both fullback and centreback positions for Bayern,so he would fully know how to properly organise the defence. Also with an inexperience defence that is why a ressurected Kingson will be vital to organise and lead.
