Kwadwo Asamoah has hailed Carlos Tevez after he broke his Champions League drought with a brace for Juventus in their 2-0 win over Malmo FF.
The Bianconeri were sluggish and struggled to create any meaningful chances in the first half, despite having the lionsââ¬â¢ share of possession.
After the break though, Tevez broke the deadlock just before the hour after he latched onto a beautiful Kwadwo Asamoah back heel, following a one-two between the pair.
The Argentine then put the icing on the cake with a spectacular free kick in time added on.
Asamoah was happy for Tevez, who scored his first goal in the Europeââ¬â¢s elite competition since 2009.
ââ¬ÅI am happy but especially for Carlitos, he needed to get back to score in the Champions League,â⬠Asamoah said
ââ¬ÅAllegri asked me to play behind and thatââ¬â¢s how come I provided the assist for Tevez.ââ¬
