Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was amongst the returnees from the Christmas break to take part in Juventus’ training sessions on Monday.

Asamoah had travelled to Ghana to spend the festivities with his family and friends but has had to head back quickly to get himself in shape for the resumption of the Italian Serie-A.

The 25-year-old was unable to stay over for the New Year with Juventus set to play Roma on January 5.

The Bianconeri held two training sessions on Monday with manager Antonio Conte supervising both looking on having returned from his brief break in Dubai.

Only Carlos Tevez was missing as he has been held back by an emergency in Argentina.

The striker’s wife is in the seventh month of his pregnancy and had to be taken to hospital over an unspecified problem.

Juventus lead Serie-A by five points ahead of the top of the table clash against Roma on January 5.
