Ghana defender Kwabena Edusei is delighted to have settled down quickly at South African side Mpumalanga Black Aces and says he is enjoying his football.

The towering centre back joined the Premier Soccer League club on a free transfer during the last transfer window and has been a regular.

Edusei has formed a formidable partnership with international teammate Edwin Gyimah at the heart of Black Aces’ defence and his performance has earned him rave review in the recent times.

His impressive displays earned him call-ups to the national team but yet to mark his debut.

“As a footballer you have to be prepared mentally before moving to a new country and I think I made up by mind that it was time I left,” the former Asante Kotoko player told GHANASoccernet.com

“It’s gone well so far in South Africa and I could not have wished for more in this short time.

“My aim is to improve and continue enjoying my football.”
