Okwahu United management member Kwabena Boateng has slammed players of the club for what he describes as their obsession with ‘sex’ which has derailed their Premier League ambitions.
United have tried unsuccessfully to qualify to the Premier League over the past seven years.
They have come close over the past two seasons but missed out during the National Division One League playoffs.
The soccer mountaineers lost the battle to recapture their top-flight status after losing out to Inter Allies in the promotional playoffs.
But a member of the management team of the club, Kwabena Boateng, has launched a stinging attack on the players for engaging in excessive sexual escapades which has claims has affected their ambitions of qualifying back to the top-tier of Ghana football.
“We have to something about our players. They like sex too much. That what most of them are doing,” Boateng told Peace FM
“They are not focused on the game but rather concentrate on having sex. Something drastic must be done about it.
“We had the chance to qualify but the attitude of some of the players did not help us.”
“Look at how Inter Allies are suffering. We could have done a better job than what they are doing.
The former Premier League campaigners launch another onslaught of qualifying to the Premier League this season.
