Belgian Pro League side OH Leuven have sent Ghanaian attacker Abdul Yakinu Iddi to second-tier side OH Leuven on a season-long loan spell, the club has confirmed.
The 28-year-old has left the club after 8 seasons but could return next season if he keeps his form.
Leuven coach Leko lauded the qualities of the midfielder: "He can play in various positions and that is invaluable to us."
Iddi, who contributed 5 goals to Mechelen's campaign in 25 league games two seasons ago, was limited to just 14 appearances due to injury complications and loss of form.
