Kotoko youth coach Abdul Karim Zito has been linked with the vacant job at Ebusua Dwarfs.

Dwarfs are in the market looking for a new trainer with the future of Rashid Iddi unknown.

Iddi is believed to be nearing the exit at the club following his appointment as the assistant coach of the National female team.

Zito, a former Kotoko player and coach, is being rumoured to be interested in the job and could switch camp to join the Cape Coast-based side.

Chief Executive of the Mysterious side Nana Aidoo has threatened to pull the plucks on their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup this year due to lack of quality bench.

The club is without a substantive coach, just days before they take on Senegalese side ASC Les Jaraaf in the preliminary qualifier at home.

Zito has rich coaching experience from the Ghana Premier League after handling Hearts of Oak, BA Stars and King Faisal.

Zito has also coached Nigerien side Sahel Sporting club.

He was a member of the Kotoko squad which won the African Clubs Championship Cup in 1983.
