Rashid Sumiala sits out Medeama clash

Asante Kotoko are without defenders Rashid Sumaila and Smallboy Corbbah for their visit to Medeama on Sunday.

The champions will also be without Yaw Frimpong for the crunch game at the Tarkwa TNA Park.

Sumaila is still recovering from a muscle injury sustained on his full debut for Kotoko in the Super Cup win over New Edubiase on September 31.

Corbbah also needed to be substituted early in the first half after picking an injury in last weekend’s win against Berekum Arsenals.

Yaw Frimpong who has returned from a medical with TP Mazembe was already nursing an injury he picked in the 2-2 draw at AshantiGold.

The Porcupine Warriors who are unbeaten so far this season are looking to win their second successive game against the current Premier League leaders on Sunday.
