Kotoko to play Okwahu United in pre-season friendly on Friday

Kotoko have lined-up friendly against Okwahu United

Asante Kotoko will play Okwahu United in a pre-season friendly on Friday.

The Porcupine Warriors will engage the former Premier League side at the Nkawkaw Brightons Park in a bid to intensify preparations for the upcoming season.

They have been involved in series of low-profile friendlies over the past few weeks whey have chalked some decent results.

The Kumasi-based club have played friendly matches across the southern part of the country which took them to Adukrom, Sekondi-Takoradi, Swedru, Akosombo, Oda, Koforidua, Tema and Cape Coast.

The Premier League Champions will also re-ignite the Kumasi derby when they entertain King Faisal in a friendly on Sunday following the cancellation of the hugely publicized Super-2 clash against Hearts.
