Premier League leaders Asante Kotoko have lined-up a friendly with second-tier side BA United on 4 January at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

BA United Chief Executive Ransford Antwi told GHANAsoccernet: "We have reached an agreement with Kotoko to play a friendly so we can assess ourselves."

"They are very enthused with the kind of squad we have and are very delighted to play us during the negotiations and the club would also help us in other spheres.

Kotoko will be using the friendly to assess their fringe stars and also improve the conditioning of their players before the resumption of the league.

BA United are also preparing for Division One League and the MTN FA Cup round 64 tie.

The former top flight side have augmented their squad with high profile signings such as Shilla Alhassan, Kwabena Dodzie, Richard Atika.
