Kotoko to play All Stars in a friendly in honour of late Emmanuel Owusu Ansah

Asante Kotoko will play All Stars in a friendly to honour the memory of deceased board member Emmanuel Owusu Ansah on September 9.

The match will be Kotoko’s first pre-season game at their home venue and will be played in honur of the veteran football administrator.

“The Honourable MP was an illustrious son who devoted his resources and energy to the service and wellbeing of Kotoko in particular  and Ghana football in general and so If today he has moved on to glory, it is fitting that we play this important match for his memory,” Kotoko’s  Kotoko  Public and Supporters Relations Manager said”

“Ghana football owes him a debt of gratitude for his service and Kotoko believes playing the match will be a good avenue to say our thank you.”

The former MP for Kwabre West died last month after a short illness.

He was also an Executive member of the Ghana Football Association.
