Kotoko players and technical team to be rewarded at dinner and awards night

Asante Kotoko will be holding an end of season dinner and awards night for the players and technical team.

The event is aimed at acknowledging the immense contributions and also to reward individuals who excelled under the calendar year where the Porcupine Warriors clinched the Premier League title after four years.

A sub committee have thus been set up by the board to plan the event which according to sources will be held at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.

“As you all know by now, we have won the league and I believe it is only proper to find time to wine and dine while also recognizing and awarding excellence,” board member Jerry Asare told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

“We have mandated a committee to plan the event which will be strictly by invitation because of the distinguished personalities we will be inviting.”

Kotoko won this season’s league title with four games to spare and will represent Ghana at the next edition of the Caf Champions League.
