Kotoko thrash Vipers 3-0 in pre-season friendly

Asante Kotoko defeated Vipers 3-0 on Wednesday

Glo Premier League champions Asante Kotoko maintained their impressive pre-season run with a 3-0 drubbing of second-tier side Vipers on Wednesday in Cape Coast.

Returnee Eric Bekoe opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a well-taken free-kick before midfielder David Offei doubled the lead with powerful drive.

Former Liberty Professionals striker Issa Yakubu put the game beyond Vipers mid-way through the second half.

The Porcupine will take on Tema select side on Thursday before hosting Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Stadium in a memorial game on Sunday.
