Asante Kotoko team manager Godwin Ablordey says he has learned positive lessons from his ten-match ban and GH 8,000 fine by the Ghana Football Association for gross misconduct.

Ablordey was found guilty on two counts of misconduct after physically assaulting a match official and insulting the match officials during halftime of a league match with Heart of Lions on March 26, 2014 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

He was referred to the FA disciplinary committee and has since been serving his suspension quietly.

“I think we all have to look at ourselves and our actions after all has settled and see where we over reacted and all that,” Ablordey said.

“I think we can find the positives from every situation we find ourselves in.”

Ablordey played and captained Kotoko for four seasons before leaving to join Dwarfs where he hanged up his boots.
