Asante Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey has been handed late-call up into the Local Black Stars ahead of the CHAN tournament.
The 23-year-old has been rewarded with his fine performances for the champions and will join the rest of his colleagues at the team’s camping base in Accra.
The Local Black Stars will begin preparations for the Championship of African Nation on Tuesday at the Accra sports stadium.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu and his backroom staff will trim the rough edges of the team ahead of the tournament in South Africa next year.
Bancey has raked in 7 goals in eight matches in the Ghanaian top-tier this season. He becomes the 8th Kotoko player to have earned a call-up into the team.
