Ben Acheampong on trial at Swedish side Helsingborg

Asante Kotoko striker Ben Acheampong will leave for Angolan side Petro Atletico this month.

MTNFootball.com understands Acheampong met with the coach of Miller Gomes at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi after the Ghana Premier League derby against Hearts of Oak last month.

Acheampong underwent trials in September and impressed officials of the capital club.

Petro Atletico finished third in the 2012 Angolan Girabola behind Recreativo do Libolo and 1º de Agosto.

The departure of the workaholic forward will increase the number of players who have exited the club this season.

Daniel Nii Adjei, Awal Mohammed have already been sold to TP Mazembe and Maritzburg FC in South Africa.

A good one there, sell the whole team. Most of the players are more of liabilities. Sell them and lets get money and be relegated.
