Ben Acheampong back in training

Asante Kotoko striker Ben Acheampong returned to training on Thursday after recovering from illness.

The 22-year-old missed Kotoko’s league opener against Amidaus Professionals after suffering a bout of malaria.

Acheampong was sorely missed in Sunday’s game as the champions fired blank in the goalless draw with the newly promoted side.

He will however be subjected to a late fitness test to determine whether he will be involved in the away game at AshantiGold on Sunday.
