Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have reached agreement with fellow Premier League side Wa All Stars to sign attacking midfielder Paul Asare de Vries on loan, according to reports in the local media.
Kotoko officials are impressed with the performance of the 17-year-old and have already completed talks with All Stars to take him on a season-long loan deal.
Asare, who was a member of the unsuccessful 2013 Ghana U17 squad, has notched 10 goals on his debut season in the Ghanaian top-flight and has attracted interest from a couple of foreign clubs.
But All Stars' hierarchy want him to join Kotoko for a season and play in next season's CAF Champions League before embarking on a move abroad.
He joined All Stars from lower-tier side Berekum Berlin FC.
