Kotoko set to sign Uganda U20 star Ochaya

Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko have enquired about the availability of Uganda Under-20 star Joseph Ochaya.

If discussions are fruitful, the Ochaya will undergo medical at the Baba Yara Stadium to finalize his move.

The left-back impressed officials of the club during the African Youth Championship qualifiers against Ghana.

Ochaya is currently on in Kumasi with the Uganda Under-20 team who were beaten 3-0 in Tamale on Saturday and eliminated from the African U20 qualifiers.

“Our scouts have recommended him but we are far from signing him because we have to talk money matters since he is a foreigner,” a Kotoko source told MTNFootball.com

Reports in Uganda say his club KCC FC will pocket Shs72m and the player will receive a signing on fee of Shs48m.
