Eric Bekoe is set to rejoin Kotoko
Asante Kotoko are 90 percent through to signing strikers Ransford Osei and Eric Bekoe, the club confirmed on Friday.
The defending Ghana Premier League champions say they are left with the ”clearing of few technicalities” this weekend.
”We have agreed with the players in many ways in principle and we are looking forward to concluding everything with them by the weekend,” the club’s spokesperson Listowell Bukarson told the Kotoko Express Newspaper.
Bekoe is making a return to his former club after reportedly parting ways with Egyptian side Petrojet but must provide documentary evidence is free.
The 24-year-old was sidelined for close to two seasons with knee problems.
His return to action coincided with the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League.
Bekoe had a successful 2007/2008 season with where he emerged top scorer and Most Valuable Player of the Ghana Premier League.
Osei, a 2009 African Youth Championship goal king, has struggled to make an impact abroad after showing promising prospects.
Last season, he played for South African Premier League side Bloemfontein Celtic where he failed to earn game time.
The 21-year-old has featured for Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, FC Twente and Granada.

massive boost for the club
Glo Premier League is getting there. I hope it doesn’t stop. I am happy for Kotoko and Hearts. what are the other club also doing? Please spend money for quality players for the league to be competitive.
Big up fabu, but please Dr. in the case of yahaya is it a case of him not being fit or what?
Hope they finally launch their international career, coz Black Stars need offensive players
dead horses,,,hmmmmmmmmmm
Bekoe and Ransford, well come to happy family kotoko.
I’m happy for my darling club kotoko.
I’m an admirer of Ransford Osei but it is sad that he has been struggling with injuries. Now that he has lost form he is coming to Kotoko, please who are we deceiving, Kotoko need results than any other team in Ghana so there’s no time to help Osei to regain his form. if I were his brother I will advice him to start afresh with a low profile team like Hearts of Oak
These two players are in their menopause…..lol
Even Laryea Kinston at 48 is back to relunch his career.
Jon and Me it is becouse of people like you that most of this players refuse to come back home and play in the local league .
I cant imagine Bekoe & Osei leading Fabu attack with support from Micheal Helegbe,Nii Adjei,Micheal Anaba & Micheal Akuffo in midfield.the team go be K3K3.
We can’t wait 2 catch a glimps of thisspectacular combination at the kumasi sports stadium. bigups.
