Asante Kotoko are planning to constitute a task force which will deal with deviant fans at the Baba Yara Stadium.

This was after the club were handed a home venue ban last week for the rest of the season after fans beat up a referee last month following a 1-0 defeat to Heart of Lions.

Last season, Kotoko were banned from playing at home after fans vandalized the team bus of Medeama after a losing a league match against the Tarkwa-based side.

The club believe that creating a task force will compliment the security personnel at the Baba Yara Stadium Stadium to control fans.

“Last year we were banned, so too this season. We are planning to create a task force to check or control deviant fans at the stadium,” Kotoko’s leading supporter Ali Maradona told Fox FM.

Kotoko will host Inter Allies in Dansoman next week and then move to Tamale to play Wa All Stars.
