Kotoko secure meals sponsorhip deal

Posted On Tuesday, 16th October 2012

Kotoko have signed a one-year deal with Vits Instant Noodles

Asante Kotoko have signed a three-year meal sponsorship package with Mama Vit’s Investment Limited.

The Kumasi-based company which produces Vit’s Instant Noodles will provide products and pay an undisclosed amount of money to the Ghanaian League champions.

The link-up will see the company’s name on the front of Kotoko’s warm-up kits for Premier League matches.

The official signing ceremony will take place on the eve of Kotoko’s Premier League cracker against rivals Hearts of Oak on November 18.

“We chose to partner Kotoko ‘because it is the biggest football club in Ghana and the quality of our products see no worthy partners than Kotoko”. Ashanti Regional Manager of the company Frank Owusu Ansah told the club’s official newspaper.

Kotoko have failed to translate their off the field achievements on the pitch this season after recording two successive draws in their opening two games.

They next tackle Heart of Lions on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium on October 21.
