New Edubiase have reached a deal to sell key duo Asiedu Attorbrah and Abeiku Ainooson to Asante Kotoko.
Edubiase President Abdul Salam Yakubu met Kotoko board member Alhaji Lamine in Accra on Tuesday afternoon where an undisclosed fee was agreed to, according to Metro941.com.
Kotoko had earlier made an offer to Edubiase for the two players but their written bid was deemed woefully inadequate.
The Premier League champions risked missing out on their key transfer targets until Alhaji Lamine took the initiative to salvage the deal with Edubiase’s President.
Both clubs have agreed to a deal in principle subject to the players agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
The two will be the first major signings of the Premier League champions this off-season as they look to strenghthen ahead of the start of their title defence.
