Kotoko resumes training ahead of Lions' visit

Kotoko players returned to the training grounds on Tuesday

Asante Kotoko’s team resumed training on Tuesday morning ahead of the weekend’s clash against Heart of Lions.

The champions are still without a win after two rounds of games of the new season.

Kotoko conceded late to drop two points at AhantiGold last Sunday.

The 2-2 draw at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi follows another disappointing barren draw against newly promoted Amidaus Professionals on the Premier League opening day.

All fit players took part in Tuesday’s training which began at 09:00 GMT at Adako Jachie.

The team will also be boosted by the return of substantive coach Mas-Ud Dramani for the visit of Lions after he led the national U-17 women’s team to a historic bronze medal feat at the World Cup in Azerbaijan.

Kotoko are currently ninth on the Premier League log with just two points after two games.
