Asante Kotoko will be resuming work on the abandoned extension work of their training facility in Adarko Jarchie following the intervention of club owner Otumfour Osei Tutu II.

Works to put up dressing rooms and other facilities on the training site had stagnated for over a year now.

The Adarko Jarchie project was a brainchild of ex Kotoko chairman Dr. Desmond Sarpong which was funded by telecommunications giants MTN.

The projected came to a standstill following the exit of Dr. Sarpong.

But club owner Otumfour Osei Tutu appears to have personally taken over the project and will soon be launching the new phase of work to be done to improve the facility.

“A lot of people have made issues about the Adarko Jarchie project,” Kotoko spokesman Ali Maradona told Metro FM.

“It is true work on that site has stagnated but I can tell you that the club owner has taken possession of the project and very soon it will be re-launched.”
