Kotoko have been put on red alert after their former captain Daniel Nii Adjei revealed his frustrations at Congolese side TP Mazembe.
Adjei has endured limited playing time since his mega move to the DR Congo outfit last year.
The 25-year-old is looking for the TP Mazembe exit door after been overlooked by Frenchman Patrice Carteron.
The former Ghana Premier League player has hinted he could seek a return to the West African country, with the news set to alert the Porcupine Warriors.
“When you playing in Ghana it feels good but I’m hoping for the best so if everything goes on well I will stay in Congo but if things continue to stay the way they are I will consider coming back to pick some few lessons and possibly move out again,” Adjei said.
“Ghana is my home and if you are here you don’t face many difficulties because you love what you do and feel appreciated.”
Adjei is fans’ favourite having captained the side to win the Premier League title two seasons ago.
