Kotoko flop Joseph Ochaya wanted back home

Asante Kotoko chief Samuel Opoku Nti has confirmed the imminent exit of defender Joseph Ochaya.

The Ugandan youngster refused to report back to the club for pre-season as he tries to force a move away from the Ghanaian champions.

Ochaya is reportedly wanted back by his home club Kampala City Council who are yet to officially register their interest.

The 20-year-old has been unable to live up to his high billing since he joined Kotoko two seasons ago.

And Opoku Nti says Kotoko is all too willing to ship off the Ugandan after detecting he was unhappy at the club.

"The boy appear not happy with us and has since returned to his country," Nti revealed.

"He is not the most vital player for us and therefore we are prepared to let him go if indeed he is not happy with us."
