Kotoko linked with defender Bobie Ansah

Kotoko have been linked with ex-Hearts defender Bobie Ansah

Asante Kotoko have been linked with a shock move for defender Akwasi Bobie Ansah.

The Porcupine Warriors have identified the former Hearts of Oak right back as a replacement for Yaw Frimpong who is rumoured to be on his way to Congolese giants TP Mazembe.

The four-time African Champions have reportedly tabled a $200,000 for the services of the player.

Kotoko are believed to have held preliminary discussions with the player’s representative in a move to prize him away.

The Ghanaian champions will move swiftly to buy the player if the decide to do business with the ambitious Congolese side in selling Frimpong.

Ansah is a free agent and is therefore to eligible to play for the club.

    whether we sell Yaw or not we should get this give , i think he was good for Hearts having him as a back up wont hurt any one!!!
