Asante Kotoko will play a friendly match against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The game is being played in memory of departed Ghana FA Executive Committee member Emmanuel Owusu Ansah.

The veteran football administrator who served as a board member for the Premier League champions died in June after a brief illness.

The game which will also be used to showcase the numerous Kotoko signings to the Kumasi crowd is thus the club's way of bidding a befitting farewell to the honourable Member of Parliament.

"Kotoko play Dwarfs in a memorial game in honor of the late Emmanuel Samoa Owusu-Ansah on Sunday, 9th September at the Baba Yara Stadium," Kotoko's spokesman Listowell Yesu Bukarson confirmed to MTNFootball.com.

"The game will also give us the platform to showcase our latest signings."

One main attraction to the game is the involvement of Kotoko's new Ugandan import Joseph Ochaya who is expected in town sometime this week.
