Kotoko fail to get win against Edubiase

Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless draw by New Edubiase in the midweek Premier League game on Wednesday.

The champions drew blank before their home crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium and ultimately failed to build on Sunday’s win at Tema Youth.

Kotoko again with the lion’s share of possession, did not create enough clear cut goal scoring opportunities as the Edubiase rearguard stood resolute.

Kotoko’s strikers were found miserably wanting on the few occasions they manage to breach the airtight defence of their guests.

The disappointing result sees the record Premier League champions draw a staggering six games with just three wins despite retaining their unbeaten start to the season.

Kotoko next face a tricky tie when they visit in-form Ebusua Dwarfs.

If you want to represent Ghana like the way Hearts of Oak did us proud in 2000, you better win and win winsomely not selling your key players to your fellow Caf Champs competitors. This means you guys are pretenders.

Pop Man i can not agree with you more. this is the most useless team i have ever seen. they should not even try to go to Africa. GFA should stop them before they go a disgrace us. GFA should allow Dwarfs of Aduana to represent us.
