SuperSport will broadcast the gargantuan League game between giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak on Sunday across Africa, displaying the country’s finest clubs globally.
The game will be played on Sunday at 1500 GMT is a massive boost to the popularity of the local game.
The continental sports broadcasters in South Africa, beaming on DStv, will be in the centre of affairs as the two ferocious rivals renew their 52-year old rivalry.
With a rich history between the two glamorous clubs, they both share forty one League titles between them and now eager to recapture their lost glory after playing catch-ups to the new forces that have emerged.
Sunday’s encounter live on the television network across the continent will start from 2.45pm with pre-match analysis and colour as tension build up for the game.
Unlike last year, there are lots at stake this time around with the race for the Premier League title top of the agenda.
Kotoko could seal their 22nd League title if they negotiate the tie against their rivals while Hearts will cut their lead to 7 if they record their 17 win at the Baba Yara stadium since 1958.
Ghana and the rest of Africa must brace themselves for their version of the El-Classico.
